As for the software, I can tell you that the Mac editors on both the Minimax and Prodyssey aren't as robust as they should be, and do have a few bugs, although I wouldn't call them 'showstoppers'. This should result in the same sound from either box. The Plugiator has then a very similar sound to Noah and older Creamware DSP boards. I would guess that the electronics in a Klangbox are the same as in the ASB's, minus the control circuitry. Seven plugins were created from the original Creamware source (Minimax, LightWave, B8000, Vocoder, Prodyssey, Pro12 and FMagia), and an eighth one was created specifically for the new platform (Drums&Bass). But to have the MiniMax and B4000 are worth the asking price.
